Honorary Associates
Who are the Honorary Associates?
Individuals, and experts for their relevant merits and performances in the promotion and implementation of Integrated Systems and BRT, are worthy of such distinction. Candidates for Honorary Members shall be proposed at a General Assembly, by any Full Associate, along with the presentation and justification of their postulation. The General Assembly will make a decision for the approval of the candidate.
Honorary President
Jaime Lerner
An architect and urban planner and three-time mayor of Curitiba,Brazil, he led the urban revolution that made his city a global beacon for urban planning in public transport, the environment and social programs.
The president honorary of SIBRT is the founder of the Instituto Jaime Lerner and a former president of the International Union of Architects.
